Butter is a category most distributors treat as a line item. One print, two counts, whatever the dairy co-op quotes this month.
That’s fine until an operator asks for a rose on the bread plate, a logo pressed into the pat, or a garlic herb dollop portioned to their recipe. Then the commodity print can’t answer, and neither can the catalog.
Butterball™ Farms has made that answer in Grand Rapids since 1956. The plant was first to run logo embossed and shaped butter at commercial scale, and it’s still the largest specialty butter manufacturer in the country. Products already move through Sysco, US Foods, Gordon Food Service, Dot Foods and Van Eerden.
